Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a type of chronic pain that does not get better over time. It is usually caused by an injury or surgery and gradually worsens to be much more intense than the first onset. Other symptoms can include pain that spreads into the arms and legs accompanied with a change in color and temperature, skin sensitivity, swelling, or sweating. Unfortunately, there is no cure for CRPS, meaning that most of our chronic pain relief treatments focus on pain management. Our pain management therapy includes chiropractic adjustments to promote spine health, as well as physical therapy and electrical stimulation to try and help relieve your suffering. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the earlier treatment for this disorder begins, the better the chance of success for providing permanent pain relief.
